He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice Audrey Smith; and his son Barry Bannister. He is survived by: his wife Evie Lee Smith; and his children, Audrey L. Smith, Yvonne S. Jones, Jerri Bellah, Talmadge Smith and David Bannister. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
