It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Warnell Jenkins in Jacksonville, Georgia, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warnell Jenkins and Jacqulyn Jenkins; his siblings, Clara Nell Sims, Randy and Karon Jenkins; his daughter Courtney Jenkins; and his grandsons, Memphis and Riley Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Jenkins of Collins; his daughters, Kasey Jenkins (Lindsay Baker) of Collins, Tracy Faircloth (Tommy) of Collins and Miranda Wynn of Collins; and his sisters, Sandra Davis of Claxton and Faye Yarbrough of Collins. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417).
