She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Thomas and Jessie Watts Thomas; her husband Ronald Coleman Bruner; and her siblings, Alton Thomas, Luther Thomas, Eugene Thomas and Jeanette Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, David Bruner (Kim) of Blakely, GA, Kevin Bruner of Jakin, GA and Darryl Bruner of Jakin, GA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips (Brent) of Blountstown, FL and Clint Bruner (Brantley) of Panama City, FL; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Phillips of Blountstown, FL and Georgia James Bruner of Panama City, FL.; and her children, Lisa Murphree (Ken) of Jakin, GA and Chad Gibson of Jakin, GA..
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Springfield Baptist Church (8408 GA-39, Jakin, GA 39861).
