It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca MILLER Spann of Jakin, Georgia, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Rebecca find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Virgil Miller, Jr. and Gussie Gilbert Miller; her husband Larry Spann; and her brothers, Rabon Miller and Bruce Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Alisa Price (Perry) of Donalsonville, GA and Jonathan Spann of Jakin, GA; her grandson Peyton Price of Thomasville, GA; and her brother Lamar Miller (Hazel) of Hawaii. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home (909 S Tennille Ave, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A reception was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Georgia Hospice or Gentiva Hospice.
