He was predeceased by: his parents, Arron Jackson and Pearl Jackson; his daughter Marla Mitchell; and his siblings, Milton Jackson, James Jackson, Mae Young, Agnes Long, Dimple Martin and Emma Tidwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Cairo; his granddaughter Kayleigh Cario of Texas; his niece Doris Raynes; and his nephew Ronald Young.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Bethel Christian Church (147 Bethel Rd, Talking Rock, GA 30175).
