She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Lee Rainwater Teal. She is survived by: her father Charles Teal; her daughter Susan Carter of Jasper; her grandson Max Carter of Jasper; her siblings, Barbara Meeks of Fairburn and Dill; her sister-in-law Betty Teal of Fairburn; her sister Janice Campbell of Fairburn; her sister-in-law Barbara (Lamar Puckett); and her grandson Kevin Carter (Nelson Baptist Church) of Jasper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Roper Funeral Home (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143).
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Nelson Baptist Church Building Fund.
