He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Landrum and Frances Landrum; his wife Linda; his siblings, Peggy, Wanda and Wendell; his children, Stephanie (Rusty), Charles III (Charmaine) and David (Kristin); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Hailey, Charles Simeon, Kyle, Timothy, Madeleine, Harlow and Daniel.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (4400 N Peachtree Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles's honor to Samaritan's Purse and First Baptist Church Atlanta.
