He was predeceased by: his father Charles Lee Meroney; his son Corey Mitchell Meroney; and his brother-in-law James Bradley Leaman. He is survived by: his mother Rose Ann Meroney of Phenix City, Alabama; his wife Theresa Meroney of Jasper; his children, Jennifer Ann Luttrell, Stephanie Causland (Thomas) and Michael Brady Meroney (Cher); his grandchildren, Abigail Meroney, Isabella Smajd, Rosalia Smajd, Miles Meroney, Kennedie Meroney, Caleb Causland and Ethan Causland; his parents-in-law, Martha and Ernest Leaman of Phenix City, Alabama; his siblings, Debra Elliott (Steve), Teresa Pearson, Donald Meroney and Randy Meroney (Brandy); his siblings-in-law, Jeff, Rena Leaman and Richard Leaman; and his siblings' children, Stephanie Cullars (James), Matthew Elliott, Brandi McKinnon, Jesse McKinnon, Caleb Pearson, Stacey Meroney, Kasey Meroney, Noah Meroney, Kaylee Treadwell, Konnor Elliott, Addison Elliott, Eric Hartwell (Jennifer), Heather Swain (Andrew), Summer Leaman (Bri), James Goodson (Jami Jo), Brandee Leaman, Julee Leaman, Yorkie and Bella.
