He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Bruce and Betty Cagle Bruce; his grandparents, Tom and Lillie Mae Cagle; and his aunts, Lois Gilleland and Peggy Hulsey.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Bruce; his aunt Jane; his uncle Lawrence Mulkey; his cousins, Tom, Sherri Hulsey, Ben, Kim Gilleland, Rosemary Gilleland (Daryl Puckett), Jimmy, Kathy Cagle, Matt, Katie Cagle, Joey, Emily Cagle, Hannah, Keith, Silas Ewing, Blake and Colton Byrd; and his sister-in-law Melba. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, more family, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143).
