He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Duncan; his parents, Cathryn Norrell and Gene Duncan; and his father-in-law A. W. Lawson (Dub). He is survived by: his children, Ashley Smith (Cory) of Jasper and Christopher Duncan (Katlyn); his grandchildren, Ella Duncan and Lawson Duncan; his brother Teddy Duncan; his mother-in-law Jeanette Lawson; and his siblings-in-law, Shelia Buckner, Lorrie, Scott Shaw and Terri Lawson.
