He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Prather and Irene Prather; and his sisters, Lula Little, Lorene Batson and Carolyn O'Neal.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara P. Wood of Jasper and Ethelene Nix of Monroe; and his siblings' children, Ken Wood of Jasper, Jan (Jody Dowda), Kimsey, Connor Head, Joe Dowda of Jasper and Ted (Sandy Thacker).
