It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emiline Burgess of Jasper, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Burgess; and her sisters, Arnola Mathis, Leola Padgett, Vera Honea and Cleo Honea.

She is survived by: her children, Doug (Yvonne Burgess), Terry (Pam Burgess), Eddie (Renee Burgess), Deb (Larry Turner) and Kim (Jamie Garrett); and her brother Kenneth West of Jasper. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
