She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Thompson and Lizzie Gravitt Thompson; her husband John "Shorty" Dorsey; her siblings, Wynell Bush and Shorty Thompson; and her son Jim Dorsey (Janet).
She is survived by: her son Doug Dorsey (Pam); her great grandchildren, Sam Hammontree, John Daniel Dorsey, Kerri Lee Dorsey, Lyndsey Logan (Vickey Jones-Logan) and Taylor Logan; and her great great grandchildren, Bentley Logan, Joshua Hendricks, Arianna Hendricks, Mylah Logan and Jolene Logan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
