He is survived by: his mother Barbara Prather Wood of Jasper; his sister Jan; his brother-in-law Jody Dowda of Jasper; his nieces and nephews, Kimsey, Connor Head and Joe Dowda III of Jasper; his aunt Ethelene Nix of Monroe; and his cousins, Mike Mosley of Jasper, Ted and Sandy Thacker of Franklin, Tennessee..
