He is survived by : his sons, Dwight Childers (Kristie Moss) and Roger Childers (Tammy Chastain) of Talking Rock; his grandchildren, Dylan Childers, Mary Jo Dillard (Justin) of Jasper, Mindia Lane Nations (Dusty) of Jasper, Jesslyn Lane Chastain of Talking Rock and Christopher Ty Chastain of Talking Rock; his great grandchildren, Benson Ryan Dillard, Blaklee Rayne Dillard and Jackson Nations; his siblings, Harley Childers of Jasper, J. T. Childers (Kathy) of Jasper, Eloise Weaver (Danny) of Rocky Face and Doris Tawzer (John); and his siblings-in-law, Andy Gibson (Linda) of Cartersville, L. C. Gibson of Canton and Gladys (Leonard Childers).
