It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Tilley of Jasper, Georgia, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Richard Tilley Sr. and Christine Collett Tilley; and his brother-in-law Bud Chumley. He is survived by : his daughter Tina; his son-in-law David Beck of Jasper; his brother Jeff; his sister-in-law Cathy Tilley; his sister Sue; his brother-in-law Charlie Chumley; his siblings, Pam Chumley, Johnny Tilley and Pat Chumley; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Justin Rilling and Ryan Crump; his great grandchild Kenleigh Sampson; and his close friend Greg Gaddis.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A burial was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at the Lake Forest Memorial Park (280 Camp Rd, Jasper, GA 30143).
