With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnny Denney (Jasper, Georgia), born in Ball Ground, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grady Denney and Claudine Jordan; his siblings, Benny Hitt and Dorothy Ridings; and his son Gregory Steve Denney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marvin Hitt, Diane Roper (Randall), Sharon Mulkey, Junior Brown, Steve Denney (Willene), Juanita Cook (Ramon) and Richard Denney (Robin); his grandchildren, William Denney, Rebecca Gracie Denney, Evelyn Chalmers, Matthew Chalmers, Andrew Chalmers and Violet Peel; his wife Patricia Denney (Pat); his son Christopher Denney (Amy); and his stepchildren, Marc Chalmers (Stephanie) and Helen Chalmers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, but in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Johnny's honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
