He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Strickland and Blanche Strickland; his son Matt Strickland; and his wife Susan Strickland. He is survived by: his daughters, Kerry Strickland, Heather Stevens of Jasper, Leigh and Kevon Combs of Alto; his uncle Jim Lawson; and his stepdaughters, Brooke Defoor Whittle of Toccoa and Lauren Moavero of Toccoa. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
