It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Ryder Gilbert of Jasper, Georgia, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ryder and Ora Belle Ryder; and her brothers, Terry Ryder, Wayne Ryder and Jerry Ryder.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Gilbert of Jasper and Jennifer; her son-in-law Richard Osborne of Jasper; her grandchildren, Abigail Gerrard of Jasper, Ben Gilbert of Jasper and Bradley Gilbert of Jasper; her brother Tommy; her sister-in-law Kathy Ryder of Marble Hill; and her sibling's children, Doug, Shelly Ryder of Marble Hill, Jaime Ryder of Marble Hill, Esther Ryder of New Jersey, Kenny Ryder of New Jersey, Thomas Ryder of New Jersey and Duane Ryder of Marble Hill.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143).
In June's memory, the family requests in lieu of flowers, please send plants, bird houses, bird feeders, and bird seed to keep the spirit alive.
