He is survived by: his children, Jerry Gay of Jasper and Cathy Gay of Jasper; his grandchildren, Ricky, Trista Cofflin, Britney Cofflin, Thomas Martinez, Preston Cofflin, Mack Cofflin and Bailey Carder; his great grandchildren, Errol Mansion, Ripley Cofflin, Xavier Cofflin, Everest Poss, Arwen, Normani and Winry; and his caregiver Becky Mulkey.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to assist with funeral expenses.
