Marjorie Reece Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Padgett and Nimmie Padgett; her husband Edwin Leroy Reece; and her son-in-law David Williamson. She is survived by: her children, Wallace (Rita Reece), Gary (Cay Reece), Bryan (Melinda Reece), Wanda (Harold Evans), Diane Reece Williamson of Carrollton and Renee (Eddie Burgess); her grandchildren, Brooke (Mathew Parks), Lindsay (Brian Jones), Vanessa (Shawn Patterson), Anita Evans Keener, Beth (Bryant Turner), Jennifer (Shannon Robinson), Adam (Eleanor Reece), Ben (Alexa Reece) and Justin (Beth Burgess); and her caregivers, Dymple Buttrum and Teresa Padgett. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sharptop Baptist Church (2010 Grandview Rd, Jasper, GA 30143). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Sharptop Baptist Church Cemetery (2010 Grandview Rd, Jasper, GA 30143).
The family will accept flowers or a memorial donation in Marjorie's honor to Georgia Mountains Hospice at 1452 East Church Street; Jasper, GA 30143.
