He is survived by: his wife Betty of Jasper; his daughter Abbi; his son-in-law Bryant Odom of Canton; his son Clint; his daughter-in-law Kelly Owens of Tualatin, Oregon; his son Shane; his close friend Craig Francis of Guerneville, California; his sister Sally; his brother-in-law Bob Cantrell of Tolar, Texas; and his grandchildren, Charley Odom, Anneka Owens, Charlie Owens, Thea Owens, Skylar Cogswell and Jaycee Cogswell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice or the Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome Association.
