She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Hales and Diller Hales; and her sister Willie Mae Mulkey. She is survived by: her children, John Eugene McPherson, Debbie Ann (Tex Byess), Norma Jean McPherson and Audrea (Donnie Fountain); her brother Robert Leon; and her sister-in-law Nancy Hales. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
