With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lois Moore of Jasper, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roach and Dora Roach; her husband Leron Moore, Sr.; and her brothers, Preston Roach, Grady Roach and James Franklin Roach.

She is survived by: her son Leron Moore Jr.; her daughter-in-law Delores Moore of Powder Springs; her daughters, Virginia (Terence Norman) and Alethia Dawkins (Reginald Dawkins); her grandchildren, Marla Jo Moore, Joshua Moore, Ginny Francis and Terence Kellen Norman; and her brother Truman Roach. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many other friends and relatives.

The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.

As a child I remember going to her house for great lunches during the summer. She was a kind and loving person. One thing I don't remember is Aunt Mary Lois living with us in Atlanta (I was to young) but my Mother would talk about the fun they would have when she lived with us while going to College.
