He is survived by: his son Michael Kirk of Alabama; his grandchildren, Dwayne (Amanda Kirk) and Lorie (Bill Higdon); his great grandchildren, Mary Jo, Justin Dillard of Jasper, Lane and Dusty Nations of Jasper; his great great grandchildren, Benson Dillard of Jasper, Blaklee Dillard of Jasper, Jackson Nations of Jasper and Allie Nations of Jasper; his siblings, Marie Stevens of Holly Springs, Shirley Grant of Jasper, Joe Kirk of Talking Rock and Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Kirk of Talking Rock.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Talking Rock Baptist Church (3914 Hwy 136 W, Talking Rock, GA 30175).
