He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emmett and Evelyn Ada Childers. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Childers of Jasper; his daughters, Andrea Childers of Jasper and Leigh Ann; his son-in-law Jason Williams of Roswell; his son Patton W.; his daughter-in-law Mallory Childers II of Jasper; his grandchildren, Sam Williams, Luke Williams, Mollie Williams, Harper Childers and Henley Childers; his brothers, Norman (Jackie Childers) and Greg (Debbie Childers); and his aunts and uncles, Melo Evans, Olga Satterfield, George Satterfield and Truman Childers.
