She was predeceased by: her parents, Bronza Howard and Odessa Howard. She is survived by: her husband John B. Sloope; her sons, John B. Sloope, Jr., Jasper and Tom H. Sloope (Angela); her grandchildren, Katherine E. Danyo (Chris), Brookhaven and Alexandra T. Hinckley (Nick); her great grandchildren, Reagan Danyo, Everett Danyo and Brookhaven; and her brother Nathaniel W. Howard (Patty). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Jasper or New Providence Church.
