He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Roper and Vinnie Roper. He is survived by: his wife Margene Crowe Roper of Jasper; his daughter Rhonda; his son-in-law David Ginn of Clarkesville; his granddaughter Hayley Ginn of Flowery Branch; and his brother Maynard (Pat Roper). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
