He is survived by: his wife Linda Townsend; his children, Douglas McBee, David McBee, Stephanie Baldwin (Adam), Laura Taylor (Carl) and Melissa Buchanan (Scott); his grandchildren, Shawn McBee (Destiny), Jason McBee, Amberlie Massey (Dustin), Kimberly Weller (Donny), Abigal Baldwin, Ethan Baldwin, Carl Taylor III, Emily Taylor, Hope Buchanan and Haley Buchanan; and his siblings, James Garland, Danny Townsend, Patricia Coleman and Elizabeth Brock. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
