She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Girard and Ella Wofford Girard; her husband Joseph Thurman; her daughter Lynne Thurman; and her siblings, James Girard, Albert Tracy Girard and Mary Cantrell.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Thurman, Betty Thurman, Dona Belzer (Brad) and Michael Thurman (Terri). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
