We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, at the age of 68, Steve Burgess of Jasper, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Steve's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Steve's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence (Dot Burgess) and Steve. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Burgess and Maggie Burgess; and his sister Betty Mason (Sam Duncan).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens (1440 W Church St, Jasper, GA 30143).
