He is survived by: his daughters, Francine (James Edmondson) and Carolyn (Lee Knight); and his siblings, Patsy Foster, Betty Berry, Rosa Brackett, Henrietta Abernathy, Rev. Jerry Whitlock, Charles Whitlock and Ricky Whitlock. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
