She was predeceased by : her parents, John Marion Howe and Emma Ellen Black Howe; her husband Joseph Richard Spratlin; and her brothers, Terry and Gary Howe.

She is survived by : her children, Tennille Durand (Travis) of Carrollton, Kentucky. and Daniel Spratlin of Athens; her granddaughter Harper Reese Durand; her sisters, Linda Gray (Tim) of Canton, Janice Hall of Montgomery and Wanda Kavanagh (Mark) of Canton; and her niece Lynnette Bush (Cissy) of Toccoa.
