Betsy Gail Hunt Payne Obituary
The memory of Betsy Gail Hunt Payne of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Charles Boland and Beverly Banks Boland; her brother Lee Boland; her former husband Larry Richard Hunt; and her husband Joe Payne.
She is survived by: her brother David Boland of Gainesville, GA; her children, Ashley Hunt Snapp (Brent) of Jefferson, GA and John Hunt (Jennifer) of Jefferson, GA; and her grandchildren, Savannah Snapp Tinsley (Tyler), Elijah Snapp, Joshua Snapp (Riley), Quillian Jayne Snapp, Carter Hunt, Anna Hunt, Madison Hendrix Standridge (Cole) and Kamdyn Hendrix. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jefferson (246 Washington St, Jefferson, GA 30549). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
