We are sad to announce that, on May 12, 2026, at the age of 83, Betty McDonald of Jefferson, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Gus Nicholas and Ruby Belle Hardigree Patterson; her husband Tommy Gene McDonald; and her sister Helen Scott. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Gene McDonald, Jr. of Flowery Branch, Marsha McDonald Robinson (Scott C.) of Delano and Julia Diann Pontsler (Tim A.) of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Trevor McDonald, Kaira McDonald, Larissa McDonald, Taylor Robinson, Kaleb Robinson and Megan Pontsler; and her great grandchildren, Bentley McDonald, Harper McDonald, Kolson Kade Smith and Layla Norris.
