She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Earl Carnes and Hilda Etta Lumsden Carnes; her husband Frank Stowe; and her brother Earl Cleveland Carnes. She is survived by : her children, Robbie Gilbert (Brandy) of Atlanta and Derek Gilbert (Tracy) of Beaufort, SC; her sister Barbara Jenkins of Conyers; and her grandchildren, Mary Katherine, Thomas, Matthew, Mark, Annabel and Lucy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
