He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney George Sturdy of England and Elizabeth Hoskins Sturdy of England; and his wife June Winifred Jackson Sturdy. He is survived by: his children, Julie Smith (Chris) of Patterson, GA, Wendy Alexander (Gerald) of Dahlonega, GA, Rodney and Christine Sturdy of Jefferson, GA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Rivers (Qaishun), Holly Gabb-Hammond (Jason), Cale Roper (Kat) and Cindy O'Neal (Brad).
