She was predeceased by: her parents, Worth Wilkes and Mattie Jackson Wilkes; her husband Loyd Evans; her siblings, Laconia Wilkes, J. T. Wilkes, Thelma Nabors, Frances Glenn, Henley Wilkes, Luther Wilkes and Connie Hemphill; and her friend Alice Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Evans (Cathy) and Suzanne Cummings (Billy); her grandchildren, Brenan Evans, Timothy Duke, Kelsey Heaton (Cohen) and Carter Evans (McKenzie); her great grandchildren, Addie, Mattox, Fletcher, Harper and Everett; and her close friends, Mary Ellen McClure, Tammy Bruce, Marie Hix and Vivian Scott.
