He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dewey Dodds and Alice Lae Strickland Dodds; and his wife Mary Jane Butler Hammond. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Mary F. Shelton (Bobby) of Jefferson, GA.; and his grandchildren, Dustin Shelton, Tiffany Massey, Brandon Hammond and Rebecca Sims.
