It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Whitehead of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Whitehead and Geraldine Edna Carroll Whithead; and his sisters, Diane Williamson and Barbara Hall. He is survived by: his children, Janice Rhodes (Michael) of Chicago, Todd Whitehead (Stephanie) of Commerce, GA and Jason Whitehead of Maysville, GA; and his grandchildren, Sofia, Chris, Aedan Rhodes, Noa Rhodes, Ezra Rhodes, Liam Rhodes, Havannah Whitehead and Haze Whitehead. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
