As Dorothy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothy. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Kathleen (Couch) and Ralph Silman; her former husband Hale Duke; and her sisters, Gail Roberts and Nell Stromberg.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Duke of Pendergrass and Mark Duke (Amy) of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Corey Hetchler (Trent), Savannah Dooley (Tyler Grizzel), Caitlin Wilson (Christian) and Aiden Duke; and her great grandchild Emersyn Dawn Grizzel.
