Emma Rooks Williams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Rooks Williams of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Tim Williams; her parents, Mattie Lou Williams Rooks and Aaron Jeremiah Rooks; and her siblings, Kenneth Rooks, Sue Purvis and Travis Rooks.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Williams; her daughter Teresa Williams; her children-in-law, Doug and Lynn Williams; her grandchildren, Justin Williams (Holly), Alyssa Williams, Meredith Dahm (Jason) and Morgan Phillips (Isaac); and her great grandchildren, Hallie Dahm and Emma Grace Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stapleton Baptist Church (360 Harvey St, Stapleton, GA 30823). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family respectfully suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to her beloved church—Stapleton Baptist Church, PO Box 146, Stapleton GA 30823.
