He is survived by: his wife Gail Kent Decker of Jefferson; his son James Decker (Erin) of Homer; his stepson Matt Cochran (Allison) of Homer; his sons, Eli Coffey of Somerset and Johnny Decker (Kesha) of Hickory, N. C.; his stepdaughters, Danielle Tansu (Mert) of Australia and Melanie Marshall (Simon) of Zionsville, Indiana.; his sisters, Mable Blume and Lavena Love of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Colton Decker, Carlie Cochran, Catie Cochran, Dillion Decker, Daisy Decker, Sophia Tansu, Aydin Tansu, Molly, Charlotte and Elliott Marshall.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maysville Baptist Church (8875 GA-82, Commerce, GA 30558). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
