As we bid adieu to Evelyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Evelyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Bryson and Maude McConnell Bryson; and her husband Sidney Joe Manning. She is survived by: her daughter Alice Manning Lyle (Robert); and her brother Elmer Bryson (Pat) of Hiawasee, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the Evans Memory Gardens (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
