With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Steven Rooks of Jefferson, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 57. He was predeceased by: his mother Belvie Dean Pass Rooks; and his grandparents, Hubert, Pearl Pass, Larry and Frances Rooks.
He is survived by: his father Larry Rooks, Jr. of Jefferson; his children, Chase Rooks (Cody) of Jefferson and Bridgett Brock of Jefferson; his fiancé Stacy Williamson of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Taylor and Avery Brock; and his siblings, Cindy Coley (Michael), Donna McMullan (Mark) and Scott Rooks (Brooke).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A burial will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at the Evans Memory Gardens (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
