He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Thomas Tye and Annie Weeks Tye; and his siblings, Thomas Tye, James Tye, Grady Tye, Johnny Tye, Clarence Tye, Henry Tye, Billie Jean Ball and Marshlyn Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Keen Tye; his children, Kenneth Tye and Karen Aromatorio (Rob); and his brother Harrold Tye (Sandra). He is also survived by four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the FairHaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
