He was predeceased by: his wife Eunice Mealor; his parents, Evans Mealor and Pratt Mealor; his siblings, Billy Mealor, Millie Vaughn, Mary Lou Bishop, Evelyn Sorrow and Sue Mealor; and his sons, David Gene Mealor and Donny Ray Mealor.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy (Rex Wallace), Brenda (Dennis Brown) and Karl (Jenny Mealor). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons or Brockton Road Baptist Church at 2675 Brockton Road, Jefferson, GA 30549.
