It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Milton Nix of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Dodd Nix of Jefferson; his son Jason Nix of Jefferson; his siblings, Sarah Adams of Gainesville, Becky (Kim Stinson), Lynn (Don Fisher) and Chris; his sister-in-law Laurie Nix of Lula; his aunt Mildred Knight of White County; his grandchildren, Josie Nix, Brookley Grissom and Aubrey Grissom; his niece Julie Bagwell of Jefferson; his nephew Josh Bagwell of Gainesville; his brother-in-law Kendall Dodd; and also Cassie Nix of Lula. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
