He is survived by: his son Joe Barnes (Jennifer) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Maddie Yates (Logan) of Chattanooga, Hailey Barnes of Jefferson and Megan Barnes of Marietta; his sisters, Judy Lawrence (Tommy) of Godfrey, Elizabeth Lawson of Godfrey and Brenda Creek Reichert of Atlanta; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Stephens of Valley, AL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew and cousins.
