He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Grubbs Martin (Betty); his children, Joseph E. Martin, Jr., Ralph M. Martin (Stacie), Kenneth R. Martin (Karyn) and Tammy M. LaMar (Michael); his grandchildren, Joseph E. Martin III (Emily), Patrick C. Martin (Courtney), Thomas W. Martin (Kristin P. Cates), Sophia E. LaMar, Sarah E. LaMar, Matthew D. Martin, Payton L. Cox and Michael M. LaMar; his great grandchildren, Charles A. Martin and Emma K. Martin; his siblings, Joe Taylor Martin and Cathy Taylor Cloyd; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Martin and Tracy Martin.
